We are located on some of the most peaceful and beautiful countryside in southern Iowa.  Dotted with rambling hills, rustic barns and abundant farmland, it’s the perfect spot for a memorable hunting trip!

2. WHERE IS THE NEAREST AIRPORT?

Des Moines International (DSM) airport is just over an hour away.  We provide complimentary and private pick-up and drop-off service from Des Moines International.  

3. HOW MUCH LAND WILL WE EXPLORE?

You’ll explore over 1,000 acres of premium, private hunting grounds with our Premium Upland Bird Package.

​4. WHAT IS THE LIMIT ON BIRDS?

Our Premium Upland Bird Package gets you no-limit bird hunts on our land.  

5. AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY OWN DOG?

Yes!  We welcome all hunting dogs and have comfortable facilities to house them.  If they are house trained, they are welcome in the lodge.  Of course, your package includes guides and trained dogs for your use if you don’t have or want to bring your own dog.

6. WHAT ABOUT MY HUNTING LICENSE?

No need to worry.  We will take care of your hunting license during any multi-night Premium or Traditional Upland Bird Package.

7. HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL THE LODGE ACCOMMODATE?

The lodge will comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.  After a day of hunting, you and your group can come back to modern and comfortable accommodations with a game room, fully stocked bar and hearty, professionally prepared meals.

8. WHAT KIND OF MEALS ARE PROVIDED?

During your stay, our multi-night hunting packages include all meals prepared by our in-house professional chef, who use recipes handed down from Grandma Judy herself.

9. DO YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL REQUESTS OR DIETS?

Absolutely!  We will send you a preferences sheet so you can tell us how we can cater your trip to make it as personalized as possible.  Have a favorite whiskey or beer?  We’ll be sure to have it on hand!  Have special dietary needs?  Our chef will be happy to accommodate you.

​10. WHAT TIME SHOULD I RESCHEDULE MY ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE FLIGHTS?

We want to ensure that you maximize your trip by getting you started with an early, hearty breakfast before we head to the hunting grounds.  We suggest getting in no later than mid-afternoon the day before your hunt starts so you have plenty of time to get settled into the lodge before the next day’s excursion.
